Key Features & Benefits

  1. Superior Blackout Fabric (390gsm):

    • Benefit: This is the standout feature. At 390gsm, this is one of the heaviest blackout fabrics available, signifying ultimate performance. It will be exceptionally effective at blocking 100% of light. It also provides excellent thermal insulation (energy saving) and sound absorption, outperforming standard blackout blinds.

  2. QuickFit No Drill System:

    • Benefit: Maintains the convenience of tool-free installation inside a window recess. This makes installing a premium blackout blind incredibly easy, ideal for renters or anyone avoiding DIY.

  3. Light Grey Colour:

    • Benefit: The "Light Grey" colour offers the perfect balance between style and function. It provides a modern, sleek, and versatile neutral look that complements both cool and warm colour schemes. Unlike darker blinds, when it is rolled up, it helps maintain a bright, light, and airy feel in the room, making spaces feel larger and more open. It's a less stark alternative to pure white.

  4. 100% Polyester Composition:

    • Benefit: A durable, resilient, and easy-to-clean material. The high-quality polyester is designed to resist fading and can be maintained with light dusting or a wipe with a damp cloth.

  5. Wide Size Range:

    • Benefit: Suitable for almost any window, from small to very large (up to 2800mm wide). Any blind up to the maximum width will be made from a single piece of fabric.

Ideal Usage & Considerations

  • Perfect For:

    • Bedrooms & Nurseries: Where the highest level of total darkness is required for sleep, but a light, modern aesthetic is desired for the decor.

    • Living Rooms & Media Rooms: For a home cinema experience without making the room feel dark and closed-in during the day.

    • Any room where you want the best blackout performance but prefer a light, contemporary colour to keep the atmosphere bright.

  • Light & Privacy Control: Provides complete light blocking and privacy at all times of the day and night.

  • Measurement: Extremely important. For the No Drill mechanism to work and for the blackout effect to be successful (especially at the edges), you must measure your window recess accurately.

Measuring
TOOLS YOU NEED TO MEASURE VERTICAL BLINDS
  • A steel measuring tape
  • A pencil to mark and write your measurements
  • A worksheet to record your findings
  • A ladder (if necessary) for tall windows

HERE ARE SOME TIPS TO HELP YOU COME UP
WITH AN ACCURATE MEASUREMENT:
  • Do not mix up the height and width measurements when writing them down because interchanging them may result in a blind that doesn’t fit
  • if you are measuring for more than one window, don’t assume they are the same. go round each of them and record their individual measurements. slight variations you may encounter can make a huge difference in how the blinds fit.
    OUTSIDE RECESS

    • Measure the exact size of the area you would like the blind to overlap. to minimize light leakage we recommend that the blind overlaps the window recess by at least 70mm at the top and 50mm each side.
    • The overlap at the bottom of the blind is a matter of personal choice but please take into account obstacles such as radiators.
    • Use a metal tape measure as cloth ones can stretch and bend therefore potentially giving you inaccurate measurements.

    INSIDE RECESS

This is the measurement you need to take if you want your blind to fit inside the window recess. measure the full width and height of the recess [the size of the hole if you like] and we will make the appropriate deductions to ensure a perfect fit.

    • Measure in 3 places for both the width and the drop, use the smallest measurements.
    • Don’t make any deductions, we will do that for you to ensure your blind fits perfectly.
    • Use a metal tape measure, cloth ones can stretch and give you inaccurate measurements.
    Fitting

please ensure you have the following that come with your vertical blind:

EXTRA EQUIPMENT YOU WILL NEED IN
    THE PROCESS:
    • top fix brackets x2
    • face fix bracket x2
    • hangers x1
    • allan key x1
    • stabilising chain x2
    • safety hook x1
    • wood screw x4
    • weight x1
    • a pencil
    • screws
    • drill with the correct bits
    • crossed head screw driver
    • tape measure (metal)
    FACE FIX

You will need to position the brackets approximately 5cm from the ends where the headrail is to be positioned if more than 2 brackets are supplied, fit the additional brackets at equal spacing across the length of the blind. please ensure fixings are suitable for the wall/surface to which you are mounting the brackets.
face fixing hook the back of the headrail into the bracket and rotate the headrail into position. secure headrail by tightening the short screw in the front of the bracket
    TOP FIX
You will need to measure the distance and mark down the section to allow for barriers like handles that protrude into the recess area. you will have to locate the brackets approximately 10cm from the ends where the headrail is to be positioned as this will clear the windows handle opener.  if more than 2 brackets are supplied, fit the additional brackets at equal spacing across the length of the blind. please ensure fixings are suitable for the wall/surface to which you are mounting the brackets.
Tilt and hook headrail into bracket at point. rotate the headrail into position until it clicks. to release the headrail, push the bracket at point.
